How long does it take to get from one side o the city to the other?

2 days in a row now, not 1 hour not 1 and a half hour, YES! 2 Freakin Hours!!! Damn Muni, why do you always break down??? Fix the muni system before spending money on damn cameras at the bus stops.

I'm back!

Ok I know it's been a while and I guess it's a good thing right? Hasn't been any abnormal crazy incidents lately, just the normal crazys. I thought I was on a roll, until today! ...

On the 16AX going to work, reading my newspaper, I hear this guy on the phone, "your girlfriend called me..." I hear pieces of the conversation, "I just want to make sure it's ok..." I couldn't hear the rest, ok I thought whatever. Then all of a sudden BBBBBBEEEERIT! Uhhh... WTF did that really happen??? He FARTED right in my face! HIS ASS was a inch from my FACE! OMG!!
I was in shock! Then I thought oh god this must be Karma for all the times I farted in public. I started laughing to myself. A little later this man decided to sit right next to me when the lady next to me left and I scooched over. He smashes me against the wall, I am closterphobic at this point. The man then starts to close his eyes and talk to himself. His lips were moving but no voice, then he starts doing these weird hand moves like he's praying. It was sooo weird, I was trapped and I couldn't take it anymore. I excused myself out and sat in a empty seat right across from him, where HE COULD HAVE MOVED TO! Then I stared at him the rest of the 5 minute ride, the whole time he had his eyes closed talking to himself and doing weird hand jestures. I look around, am I the only one seeing this???

Crazy people!

Lets keep this one short and sweet. Person decides to walk into the subway tunnel btw Powell and Civic Center delays ALL muni underground for hours I get stuck with hundreds of riders underground, AGAIN late to work by half an hour. Hurray for muni

Last weekend

So last weekend I was taking the 38 Geary boarding at La Playa. I waited 5 minutes then decided to call 6sfmuni. The person on the line told me next bus will come in 1 minute. I was like wow great, I'll be on time and the bus is on time for once! Umm one minute goes by, 2 minutes, 3, 4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11...ok 15 minutes! WTF where is the bus! I called the sf muni line again so when is the bus coming? 15 minutes. WHAT!!! the last person said 1 minute, so you are telling me I have to wait another 15 minutes making it half an hour! So I'm pissed at this point, then I see a 38 bus SITTING! yes SITTING in front of me, umm if a bus is missing why the hell are they not starting up the next bus asap! What really pissed me off was a freakin TAX paid muni employee was fuckin sitting in his truck in the Safeway parking lot NOT DOING HIS JOB! He is supposed to mark down on his chart if the buses were arriving on time. I went u to him and asked him what happened to the missing bus? He said, "you missed it it was here 5 minutes ago. WHAT???? I was standing here for 20 minutes NO 38 came! He just stared at me. This guy was obviously just sitting on his fuckin ass daydreaming in his truck. Can I get paid to sit on my ass in a parking lot too! 735026 was on this guys truck,I'm tempted to report this guy, but why? Muni is just going to send me a stupid automated system saying they appreciate me writing in and do nothing.

Another, "this only happens to me!" moment...

OK so my friend is bugging me to put this story up, I was hesitant since it's not technically a muni sucks incident. I was running with some friends trying to catch muni and I was yelling to them hold on my sirt is falling!! I was holding onto my skirt through my long sweater and all I felt I was grabbing was fabric. I didn't know how far down my skirt really was. My friend held the door on muni for me and I just made it on huffing and puffing. Relief, let go of my fabric in hand to hold the bar, and all of a sudden my skirt was around my ankles in front of the whole muni!!! OH MY GOD I grabbed it quick and pulled it up. People were cracking up and I also got few dirty looks, WOW!

Rewind

So I haven't ben blogging for a while, doesn't mean I don't have stories. Lets rewind, long story short here we go...

Probably nothing abnormal for regular muni riders, was on the 71 after work and I heard these 2 guys talking really loud, they went on and on the whole ride getting louder and louder. At one point people thought the 2 guys were fighting! The bus driver we had was on training so there were 2 drivers on the bus, did any of them say anything? Nope! One bus driver kept looking back but didn't do anything. Then a frustrated older woman was about to leave the bus she said to the 2 guys, "see you 2 are sooo loud you finally got attention of the bus driver who is looking back at you 2, are you guys proud of yourself for talking so loudly?" Umm I was thinking to myself, the bus driver don't give a shit. The 2 guys started yelling at the lady to mind her own business and they argued with the lady until she got off. Next day on the 71 another fight broke out between some girls and a lady. Apparently the lady was trying to get through to the back and bumped into the girls. The girls flipped out because they were being stupid, started calling the lady a bitch and yelling, "you don't know how to say excuse me!"

Today, just got home from the Giants game, N Judah- I smell something sour, umm Bum juice I smell, gross!!! I should be used to the smell but NO I was gagging the whole way home! Then some crazy guy came on with his Grateful Dead shirt on. Ok Dead head is on he must be on some kinda drug, I wondered what. I had my music going in my ear and couldn't hear him, I saw him bothering people on the bus then swaying then dancing. He looks my way, starts walking over, great! He sits across from me starts talking to some people who ignored him. I was sitting on the outside seat and had an empty seat next to the window. YES he came over and sat right next to me. Then he proceeds to stick his foot up on the rail in front of us then I give him a nasty look and he saids something and takes it down. Don't forget I have my music on, have no clue what the fuck he's saying to me. I thought if I keep it on he would stop bothering me, ummm nope! Taps me on the shoulder what are you? I was like what? He said where are you from? I said here, haha. Then he said your heritage I mean, I said Chinese. Then he tapped me again when I stuck my headphones back in. He said, "I study intuition" and he smiled, WTF is he talking about?? I just nodded and smiled. Thank god his phone rang then he sat next to some other person, talked to them and when he was leaving he tapped me again and said something and smiled. Ummm weirdo! Another passenger and I started cracking up. he didn't smell like bum juice, his nails were clean, he was clean, there was no harm in humoring this guy. That killed some 10 minutes of my long 1hr commute.

Another frustrating day

So once again muni breaks down. I left work at 5:45 waited for the N Judah for 30minutes then it sat and sat and sat! It took me 45minutes to go from Folsom stop to Montgomery. Yes! 45minutes to go 2 stops. I love the muni. I live near ocean beach and I didn't get home until 7:45. 2 hour commute to go across the city, love it!

Bad Day!

Overall Bad Day today. Going to work annoying squeeky was there and damn! no ipod. Of course standing and talking to mr bus driver, her best friend I can hear her loud and clear. I try to ignore it but it's kinda hard. Apparently she figured out she doesn't like driving when she doesn't drive? huh? she would rather take the bus! I wonder why, all her friends are bus drivers maybe! Next to us in heavy traffic on Fell street, some car pulling out of a parking space hit the car in front of it real hard then drove away! Squeeky girl freaked out and thought the bus driver hit the car. Then bus driver said no it wasn't me I know what I'm doing and Squeeky was kissing ass raving about how wonderful of a driver he is and how she misses his driving when she is on another bus, uhh barf! This conversation goes on for a while....Then a bad day at work...then after work taking the 31AX to a friend's place. Umm last bus 6:02. I get there at 6:05, um no bs but a long line in front of me. 10 minutes later, still no bus. I call retarded muni to see if it was pulled. Lady useless like usual. She said there should be one coming but she can't find out when. I call back 5 minutes later, guy answered. Umm there are no more 31AX coming, umm what???? Damn lady said there was 5 minutes ago. Apparently this guy tracked the bus driver down and bus driver said he picked people up already. Ummm that's why there was a long line waiting for this damn bus and asking me if it was coming? WTF!!1

Jury Duty

So yesterday I looked at SFMUNI.com to see what time the 12 was showing up. I needed to get to the Bryant st court house by 1:00. Following the muni schedule did I get there on time?? But of course not! The 12:39 bus never showed up, called muni and the lady said oh it's probably late. Oh really Genius! Late to Jury Duty, judge blame the muni!

NOt only did I get torchured by squeeky girl today I wa also LATE again for work! Muni has to figure their shit out! Lets see how many times in one month Muni breaks down, follow this blog and you will see. Took 30minutes to get from Powell station to Folsom and Harrison, 4 freakin stops WTF! Still waiting for my votes on posting sqeeky girl or not

Annoying Squeeky Girl Again...

Yes I've been seeing her on the bus still! But for a few days I had some relief, she was sick, oh poor girl, lucky passengers!...She's back! apparently she still feels like shit, the first couple days I saw her on the bus she was quiet for once, sitting too, abnormal! OK so today I saw her on the 16AX and my freakin ipod was dead! She was yapping like usual and up and standing next to her bus driver boyfriend once again. Guess what, I took a photo of her, ha. Now I'm debating if I should post it here or not. A friend of mine said it would be mean, would it really? Well I'll let you decide, let me know if I should post.

Really it was Muni!

Again half an hour late to work, really, it was Muni again! Going 4 stops on the
N Judah should NOT take half an hour!

Definition of SF Muni's Bus Schedule...

I needed to get to Marina Blvd by 10:30am today. I look at sfmuni.com and typed in my destination, the time I needed to arrive and this is what it came up with...

Take the N Judah at 9:49am get off at 19th ave and take 28 Fort Mason bus.

Ok so I get to the N Judah stop early, around 9:35. Waited and waited, 9:49, still no bus, hmmm... 9:55 still no bus..ok where the hell is the bus? 10am 3 N Judah buses sitting in front of my face and not moving! still no bus to pick us up! Finally 10:05 a bus comes, get to 19th ave. Got off was trying to cross the very busy street but it turnned red on me. I looked to see if the 28 was coming, not yet. Still waiting on the corner and what do I see, DAMN IT! the 28 bus! I'm ready to sprint through traffic to catch it then decided not to because the cars were coming too fast. Waived the bus driver down, he stares at me waiving and drives away!!! Oh my god! WTF! I don't get to Marina Blvd until 10:50.

So the Definition of SF Muni Schedule: A list of when buses arrive at a certain stop whenever they feel like sending the buses out to pick up passengers. If Muni feels like pulling buses out of their route, they DO NOT infrom any of their help lines or other workers or passengers of this change. Passengers are SHIT out of luck!

Reality Bites 3.29.08

Today I went on quite a few buses. Nothing out of the ordinary, I guess!

So going toward Geary hopped off the 18 onto the 38. As I board the 38, "Hurry Up I ain't got all day! Get on the bus or catch the next one!" WTF??? Passengers were fuckin getting on the damn bus like normal, no one was stopping or taking forever to board, fuckin rude crazy bus driver. If he was in a hurry or late maybe he shoudn't have sat at his rest stop so long and left on time! It was the 1st stop we all got on for christ sakes! Then this idiot drivr decides not to stop at 3 stop signs, he just rolled right through them. WOW! that's all I could say.


Was on some bus going from the castro to geary I think it was the 34 bus. It was Moshabar, Will and I. I saw 3 seats available and sat down, Will sat next to me and Moshabar sat next to a drugged out dude! He had long pink hair, crust all over his pants and drool crust coming from his mouth. He was eating haribo coke gummies probably so h wouldn't grind his teeth. I was going to crack up watching Moshabar sitting next to this guy.

Going home around 9:10 at night, had to take the 38 then the 18. 38 bus came on time and nothing happened on that bus. Then waited and waited and waited in the freezing cold. Called muni 3 times, when the hell is the bus coming!!!!! It took 45 minutes for a damn bus to show because they took a couple buses off the route, don't you love muni!

Annoying Squeeky!

So every night I freak out, "Did I charge my Ipod!", you all might wonder why the hell it's a big deal well this is why...

The 16AX turns the corner onto Sunset Blvd. At that point I pray is that annoying girl standing at the corner? Shit!!!! she is.

This short 5'2 lady supposedly she's 27 half chinese half hawaiian, comes on the bus the first thing she does is puts her stuff down then she starts yapping away to the bus driver. The whole fuckin ride with her annoying high pitch squeeky voice, it's like listening to chalkboard! She does this with EVERY DAMN BUS DRIVER!! Get some friends girl, get a life, we all don't want to know you are sick or how your weekend was or what you did the day before! Oh my god! It's so annoying, this nice old lady couldn't stand it anymore, she said to her one day, "you shouldn't talk to the driver, you are distracting him and it's dangerous!!" The squeeky voice made her crack! Did that annoying girl stop? Uh NO! maybe for 5 minutes. Now you're probably wondering how I know so much about this girl, like her natioanlity and crap, well that how big her damn mouth is! She tells her whole life story to anyone who would listen. God I think I'm going to start marking the dates I see this annoying girl on my blog. Maybe I might just take my ipod off and listen to their conversation and write it in here, I can put together her biography one day.

Hitchhiker 3.3.08

Yes, I said Hitchhiker! This is the first time I've ever seen this. So going home on the N Judah walking with 2 friends, all of a sudden one screams look at that hitchhiker. I was thinking what the hell are you talking about? I look over and some crazy man was sitting on this mtal piece on the back of the muni, the metal piece that connects one train to another! Yes it was outside of the damn train! I tried taking a picture but it came out blurry. Then I thought maybe someone should tell the driver not to go since this man can die that's all. Then I thought wow no one is doing anything but stare at this crazy man about to kill himself, and one guy tried to tell the driver but it was too late. There he went riding on the outside of the muni straight into the tunnel. I tried calling 6sfmuni to warn someone but of course I was put on hold, then I thought too late! This guy is either a goner or he could make it to wherever he was going. There were no deaths no crazy bumps when our train went through behind that train so I think the man survived. If not look out for his ghost the next time you go through the underground!

Crazy Man! 2.26.08

OK so a few weeks ago I saw this creepy man standing underground wearing some kind of full on army fatigue. Hmm usually the homeless wearing these outfits or a person really in the army, NOT this guy! He didn't seem homeless he just look CRAZY! He would be there almost everyday when I catch the N or T underground, he would stare straight ahead then march back and forth on the ramp. This guy had the boots on, the metals and all. So didn't see him for a while and this week I saw him 2 times in a row again! One time he was on the N Judah wearing Air Force Gear and today I saw him in Camouflage outfit with his barrette. I saw something in his hand, for a second I thought it was a trigger of some sort. I looked closely when he marched back and forth in front of me; it was some kind of metal in a box. I actually tried to take a picture of him today, ha I freaked out when he abruptly turned around at me and pretended I called someone. Well that's my story for the day, it was under the muni tunnel so I guess it counts as a muni story. I'm telling you, if I don't make it to work this man could be the reason why!

2.18.08 On my way to Kabuki Theatre 38 line

 What did I say a story everytime I get on a damn bus! 

Ok today wasn't too bad I caught my buses came pretty much on time for once! On the 38 line today, Presidents Day. This guy in his 20s came on in camo pants and a cigarette ready to be lit, sits down obviously smoked a lot of 420 with his eyes all droopy, nothing abnormal right? Hmm sitting there looking out the window, 10 minutes passed another guy comes on the bus. This guy was wearing a suite, tie and all, maybe coming from work? He sits facing the Camo guy, still a normal bus ride from here. All of a sudden, "WHY ARE YOU ALL DRESSED UP FOR ON PRESIDENT'S DAY? WHAT IS WRON WITH YOU?" Camo screams at this guy! Then he walks toward me stands hovering over me, I try not to make eye contact. Then he starts slamming on the back door real loud and hard and jumps off. 

That's it folks, told you not that bad today.

SF Muni is not fun!

 So this is my 1st blog ever, I honestly still don't know exactly what a blog is. I'm guessing it's just a place to vent for everyone to read. Here we go...I like most people in SF do not have a car because of gas prices and of course no parking! Living in the outter Sunset and commuting to SOMA for work 5 days out of the week is always an adventure. I've seen the craziest things on the N Judah, and 71 Haight. I'm not going to go backwards I'll just start from this week on, whenever I see someting crzy I'll come on here and write about it. For example this week I was on the F-line going down Market, crazy bus driver screaming what every stop is on the mic and telling everyone what's in that neighborhood. Oh that's not the crazy part, so then a guy obviously a tourist didn't know you have to get off the stairs in order for the back door to close. Bus driver screams on the mic, "Get off the stairs! get off the stairs retard! Are you retarded?" Then starts talking to himself, "it's not his fault he has mush for his brain..." he rants on and on! I think he was a little mushy in his brain, something was wrong with this guy. Scary who the city hires to drive citizens around! I am so glad Channel 7 news Dan Noyes had done a undecover investigation on these crazy bus drivers, what's sad is that even caught on tape abbusing the passengers the city still has them driving us around! Good Job Gavin Newsom.
